About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Fraud Detection Product Manager to lead the development and management of our Fraud Detection System (FDS). The role is pivotal in ensuring our solutions meet the needs of financial and non-financial industries such as banks, multi-finance companies, e-commerce platforms, switching companies, and payment gateways.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in fraud detection platforms and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Creation:
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Fraud Detection System (FDS).
- Lead research to identify fraud trends, customer needs, and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning and rule-based approaches.
2. Product Management:
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and continuous improvement.
- Monitor product performance and ensure key metrics like detection accuracy, false positives, and operational efficiency are optimized.
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance requirements and ensure the product adheres to applicable laws.
3. Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, design, data teams) to align priorities and deliverables.
- Engage external stakeholders, including customers and partners, to gather feedback and build lasting relationships.
- Communicate product updates and milestones effectively to senior management.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience in developing or utilizing fraud detection platforms.
- Familiarity with fraud detection techniques such as behavioral analytics, anomaly detection, machine learning models, and rule-based systems.
- Basic understanding of APIs, data integration, and software development lifecycles.
Experience Level:
- 5–7 years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, FinTech, or Fraud Detection Systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional products or platforms.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to address fraud-related challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a hybrid work environment.
