About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients' needs and our software solutions. You will work closely with financial and non-financial institutions to understand their business requirements, translate these into detailed specifications, and collaborate with our product team to deliver solutions. Your analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to ensuring that our products meet client expectations and drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements. Analyze and document business processes and workflow.
- Solution Design and Documentation: Develop detailed business and functional requirements documents. Create wireframes, use cases, and process models to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Product Development Support: Collaborate with product managers to define product roadmaps and feature sets. Collaborate with product managers to prioritize product and customer requirements.
- User Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end users. Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues post-implementation.
- Market and Industry Research: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices. Conduct competitive analysis and research to support business decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a SaaS environment. Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, creating functional specifications, and designing process workflows. Experience working with financial and non-financial institutions is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., wireframing, use case modeling, process mapping).Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello). Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. Strong data analysis and reporting skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and self-motivated, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Other Requirements: Strong understanding of the SaaS industry and market trends. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and stakeholders.
